I saw this pattern on Knitty, and I am VERY serious about it:) I think I am in love!! And the store just got some awesome lace weight Prism yarn. (uh ooh)

I have been playing around with the pattern.. and it's not actually that bad. Pretty much K1tb, p1, K1, p1tb. Then you cable every 6 rows, pick a stitch up, drop it a few rows. After you get the hang of it, I hardly look at the chart... just to make sure that I am on the right row and I don't need to cable/drop/pick up stitches.
Not sure if I will actually finish what I have started, I was bored and had some aran weight yarn around.. I think it's a bit much for the pattern.
It would lovely in claudia/sea silk/ koigu...
Lace weight might be a too delicate for the pattern.. at least I don't like cabling with lace weight.
Just my thoughts.
