Why I am really a PUG....

I know you all know I love pugs, I have two pugs, I do pug rescue, and forced pugs on my parents...but do you really know that i AM a pug. I am... and here is why.

1. I love to eat. Love isnt the right word. I ADORE food. I, like a pug, if left to my own devices, would eat all day until I got sick.
2. I love to sleep and lay. L-A-Z-Y.
3. I am generally happy, and love it when people are nice to me. I might even wiggle...
4. I am friendly. especially when given food... sleep... and a nice lap to lay on.
5. Sometimes I go crazy and run around my house with only my underwear. In Mango's case, she would also have my underwear....
6. I shed. Seriously, I shed.
7. I am known to make strange noises in my sleep.

Is this so bad? I was at my Weight watcher meeting tonight when my leader reminded me that I just need to find some kind of activity that I LIKE to do. This is what prompted this blog. The problem with me is that the only activities I enjoy doing are done sitting, or laying. I am doomed with this pug curse...but i am happy.
PS: Thanks Theresa for the lovely pict!

The picture is awesome! She did a great job. I could add a few more facts to your list of why you are a Pug, but I love you so I won't. Plus revenge sucks and I would never be able to BLOG again without fear of retaliation. :-)

OMG, that picture is awesome. How did she do that? I never could with my dinosaur computer. And you are not lazy. Just look at all you have accomplished over the last 4-6 years. Let's see and undergraduate and master's degree, not to mention countless FO's. Is that mermaid done yet? So don't tell me you are lazy.

Yeah, but I do it sitting down. If i just loved running as much as i loved knitting......hehe

2 words-stationary bike. knit and sit all while burning calories-can even listen to music at the same time, or eat even! but i guess that defeats the purpose...whatever. anyway, if you put your efforts into figuring out how to knit really fast, you will burn calories sitting and knitting! AND get more knitted-super bonus! and thanks, now i think i might be a pug, too....except i hopefully smell a bit better than my stinky guy!!

Holy Cow, Mimi-- I knew there was a reason you were so happy with the pugs....

My husband and I question each other about this all the time, I am worried that I look like mine. In the morning after letting them out and feeding them, he throws "my" pug, Miko, up on the bed with me (I'm still sleeping). Het tells me every morning that we were both laying the same way.

BTW: MY whole family is pug-crazy - apparently mom had one when I was born (I don't remember her) but she had horrible separation anxiety and they ended up giving her to a family up the street that was always home and had many kids. But we got Rupert when I was in 3rd grade or so, so my sister and I grew up with him, and the whole neighborhood knew us as "The ones with the funny looking dog" My sister and I each got our own before we got married and moved out, and even convince her boyfriend (now husband) to get one. My sister now has 3, and I have 2 (I got Miko from a client that couldn't take care of her when I was a Vet Tech) and I'm lobbying for a 3rd. (Hubby keeps complaining about it'll cost money...silly man. *GRIN*)

Yeah, maybe it runs in the family..

When ever I get the urge to exercise, I lay down until the feeling goes away.

This is an absolutely delightful post and I relate to it 110%! My personal curly tail is wagging in agreement.

My pug, Emma, is my Baby and in fact, is a person morphed into an adorable darling who simply cannot speak. She makes everything better and gives me reason to be utterly obsessed, just like every pug owner should!

One more thing...that is the most frightening pic...check out Jody's blog, theres a pug recall going on right now! You might want to check the serial number on Mango!

A little silly, but I'm going to comment on the comments: The pic was created on ArcSoft PhotoFantasy. The program came with my 7 yr old Windows ME computer, and I just installed it on my laptop and the program still works.
