Pound O Love. Oh my!

I can't stand the Nashua Cotton. Too knotty! LH's Nautical Cotton will be my sub from now on.

I think I'd rather cut off my own hands with a blunt object than knit with Red Heart.... just saying.

haha-when I first started knitting and on my first trip to Mosaic (when it was where 5 guys is), Gina HERSELF tried to sell me that splash and told me of all it's wonderful merits!!! I even got called when some new Splash came in-hhahaha, how things change....(btw, I never did buy any, just sayin')

I think Lopi is at the top of my list. Didn't you get my reaction when you asked if my bag was knit out of Lopi? I hate the stuff with.a.passion.

So great meeting you on Sunday. And yes, I did knit the monkeys on my blog.

I like the Hokie splash and made tons of scarfs to sell. I also proudly wear mine when the need arises. So there!

Tanya, oh yes I did ask you that. I didnt mean anything negitive by asking you that- its just that we had some colors in lopi like your bag... and it felts really dense like you bag. I hope you didnt take offense.

Yes, it IS interesting how things change. a few years back we couldnt keep SPLASH on the shelves, and couldnt sell the Hanne Falkenberg kits! WHAT A CRAZY WORLD!!!

i do admit i made a hokie scarf FOR A FRIEND-"I was just holding it for a friend" (that's what you're supposed to say, right?) but she provided the yarn-and i don't mind them for the games b/c you're supposed to wear stuff like that to the games!!

Ok that's it! I'm making Gina and Mimi lovely scarves for Christmas make from a combo of Red Heart, Lions Brand, and Splash. AND you will have to wear them so you don't hurt my feelings.

That's disgusting, Gina. And mean. I'm trying to be nice and offer to make you a beautiful gift from the "heart" and you offer me doggie poop. Tsk Tsk Tsk.

"Hokie Splash" wouldn't exactly work for a sweater-- but I used some in a game-day scarf along with other maroon and orange yarns and it works well for that kind of thing. But constant exposure and an overdose of scarf knitting with it could probably do one in.

I'm pretty much past most of the novelty yarns, although I still have some in stash that I need to use up-- probably as accents on felted bags-- can use them for gifts.

By the way, I have you linked from my website now. Welcome!!

Oh, Debbie, just relax...calm down now...no need to get your knickers in a twist!
